Hi, I want to share tips from my experience with a defective Alpha-Stim. If the display shows a crossed-out circle and the connection ends after a few seconds, standard troubleshooting (moistening electrodes, charging battery, cleaning contacts, securing ear clips) did not help.
The hotline technician from Alpha-Stim advised:
• Device test: Unplug ear clips, bridge pins with a paperclip. If the timer starts, the device works.
• Cable test: Remove sponges, place both clips on one finger. If the timer doesn’t start, it’s likely a cable break.
Warranty ok Alpha-Stim sends replacement clips.
