Oncothermie – Wissenschaftlicher Hintergrund und Ergebnisse in Studien

-

World Cancer Day

The World Cancer Day every 4th February is an initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to raise worldwide awareness and improve education, thereby promoting action by individuals, collectives and governments to create a world where preventable cancer-deaths are saved and cancer treatment is accessible to everyone.

To make a long-lasting impact and build more global awareness, a 3-year campaign under the slogan “I Am and I Will” was launched in 2019. In the following years, each World Cancer Day was under one special motto as a part of “I Am and I Will”. “Commitment to Act” represented the first part of the campaign in 2019, followed by “Progress is Possible” in 2020. This year, being the final year, “Together, all our actions matter” is a reminder that all actions can affect and be felt by others and that we should recall the positive impact of collective action.

    Ingo Bachmann
