This case is particularly special even for us, as not every MS patient who has been wheelchair-bound for an extended period responds so promptly and effectively to neuromodulation.
Maximilian, a chronic progressive MS patient, has been wheelchair-bound for two years with increasing immobility and spasticity, and has been permanently confined for the last three months.
After just the first neuromodulation session, he was able to stand up independently and regain use of his previously spastic hand/arm.
