a very simple electro-ear acupuncture device could revolutionize pain, wound healing and blood circulation therapy.
I wrote this article in 2013 and have updated it again and again, which is why the text is a bit tattered.
now – on March 24th I’m sitting here with the Ducest neurostimulator on my ear: after 1 week my “broken hip” (labrum tear and bone bruise and many cysts in the cartilage) is so pain-free thanks to Ducest that I was able to walk 10km at the camping fair without any problems. Previously, I limped after 300m.
Since then, the brain stem stimulator pSTIM / DUCEST has disappeared from the market and we are working with a new vagus stimulator that we get from Petros Kattou from the SOZO-Brain-Lab in Cyprus. I have written many articles about the power of this brain stimulation since 2023
Please also watch the article MICROCIRCULATION – and especially the two wonderful videos on BEMER, where you can really see how well this device can work and what it can achieve!
My first experience with PSTIM
Elmar, a relative of ours, then around 70 years old, suffered an open comminuted fracture of his lower leg in the winter of 2011. Several operations later it became apparent that not only did the fracture not want to heal, but a “pseudo-joint” had formed, but there was also an infection in these pieces of bone – this is called osteomyelitis (chronic bone suppuration) with permanent secretion of pus.
The patient spent a total of 6 months in the Döbling private clinic and underwent a further 12 operations, each time the wound was cleaned in depth and long-term antibiotic therapy was used.
In the spring of 2013 – a good 1.5 years later – he could only walk with crutches and in great pain, the local findings had changed little, the bone infection was still active, the foot was swollen and painful, walking was only possible with minimal strain in a plastic cast and 2 crutches.
At this point, the angiologist Prof. Dr. Szeles from the AKH was finally called in, who stuck a small device behind the ear called “PSTIM” and sent impulses to the ear via a wire.
After Prof. Szeles applied the pSTIM, within just 10 minutes the inflamed lower leg, which had been ice cold and blue-white for 1.5 years, became warm and rosy, Elmar told me!
And within 2 weeks the foot healed by 80%.
At this point Elmar finally came to me and with a combination of homeopathy / orthomolecular infusions (VitC, VitB, bicarb, zinc) / CDL / and the Papimi the foot healed completely within 2 weeks, walking was now possible without crutches in a cast thanks to pSTIM, the pain was sometimes completely gone or only present after several hours of work (janitor work).
My contribution was rather small, the pSTIM from Prof. Szeles saved this foot. I think a total of 3 x pSTIM were applied (it lasts about 3-5 days).
Without pStim – I am sure of it – his foot would have been amputated!
The comprehensive effect of the PSTIM therapy impressed me extremely and I contacted the PSTIM developer Gabriel Landl via PSTIM USA (where a treatment costs 1200 US$), who visited me and showed me the study data described below.
I then bought about 10 pSTIMS from him but then forgot about them. It was only through PETROS KATTOU from Cyprus that I got to know the device again and we now use it daily in practice.
Gabriel Landl told me the background of the NEUROSTIMULATOR:
Prof. Szeles, medical co-developer of pStim
Dr. Szelés worked in the clinical department for vascular surgery at the AKH in Vienna. He is considered the inventor of P-STIM and helped develop the product from a medical perspective. By using the first generation devices, Dr. Szelés was able to gain extensive experience. The findings were published in the studies mentioned above.
Dr. Szeles was highly active, wired 5000 devices a year, and as a result had incredible experience, but published very little.
- Here is one of his German-language publications in a nursing journal
- Here is a lecture by Prof. Szeles with new research results
Somehow he retired and essentially left nothing behind.
Gabriel Landl worked in medical device sales and was so fascinated by the device that he constantly promoted it and also enabled studies with it.
As he told me in spring 2023, Petros Kattou was the only one who actually used significant quantities of this device.
Gabriel presented the device in many places, everyone was interested like me – and ultimately no one used it – like me !!!!!
It is only through Petros Kattou that there is now an explosive use of brain stem stimulators and also tDCS cerebral stimulation.
EAR acupuncture with electrical stimulation – amazing effects
Several cranial nerves are connected to side branches in the ear.
Among others, the vagus nerve, which has a side branch that goes into the ear in the area of the auditory canal.
In recent years, a whole lot of studies have suddenly emerged on the subject:
20,000 studies on TRANS AURICULAR VAGUS stimulation
The range of applications is constantly expanding!
In numerous thermographic images, it can be shown that in just a few minutes, an area with reduced blood flow – caused by inflammation, for example – can be drastically improved in blood flow.
As I described above with Elmar. A fantastic, universal principle!
Please watch the videos from my article “Microcirculation”, they are EYE openers, you suddenly understand why some things don’t heal or get better.
By the way, the biophoton mirror therapy according to Renzo Celani should work in a similar way.
DUCEST Neurostimulator
The NEUROSTIMULATOR does not work via the ear canal or transcutaneously, but rather on the supra-regional central control system – as shown by functional MR, the TRACTUS SOLITARIUS is activated, which is superior to the VAGUS in the brain stem / medulla and influences much more than just blood circulation.
Mode of action
Excellent and immediate improvement in the blood circulation situation in all affected vascular areas of the body by activating the microcirculation of the blood vessels leads to immediately visible and measurable improvement in blood circulation.
Here are thermography images that I took from the excellent information folder by Prof. Günther. I saw the originals as a whole series at the developer’s, very impressive.
Update 2023: Gabriel Landl – now 76 years old – has sold the pSTIM or his company DUCEST to the German company BIOLITEC, which is now developing the product further and making it rechargeable and programmable. Sounds super interesting, it will no longer be “the device” that is sold but “the treatment” and you pay for the treatment time.
There is another company https://aurimod.com/ that offers a comparable product, but it is a bit more expensive and only has 1 week of therapy, instead of 3 weeks for the DUCEST neurostimulator.
There are currently many transcutaneous vagus stimulators coming onto the market – all of which essentially do nothing – says Petros – he or his patients have tried everything.
According to Petros, these do not have the same effect as the DUCEST neurostimulator, as this is the only one that is clicked into the subcutaneous nerve plexus under the skin, which transmits impulses directly to the tractus solitarius.
In addition: the special frequency that the various Amazon products do not have goes back to Prof. Szehi – except for the Aurimod stimulator, which also goes back to Prof. Szehi.
We even see – in comparison only mild – but nevertheless noticeable response through the effect of a permanent acupuncture needle (possibly also templation needle) on the corresponding DUCEST point.
Is a medical
where can you get such a treatment?
the devices are used and applied by specially trained doctors
Costs are between 500-800 euroso
Petros Kattou in Cyprus uses up to 100 DUCESTs per month.
There are now an increasing number of doctors trained by Petros who work with them and their numbers are increasing every month.
