Petros Kattou has arrived with a team of 7 therapists to treat the first “international patients” at the SOZO Braincenter in Vienna.

Patients who have traveled here came from: Germany, USA, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy … I cannot yet give the full list, as not everyone has arrived yet.

PETROS is absolutely delighted by our beautiful practice

The many months of work that Runa, Lenna, Monika, Miriam and I have invested have paid off. Petros wants to come to us as often as possible, because we have such a spacious, bright and fully equipped practice

– and quite frankly – he simply loves Vienna.

The first day here with Petros was outstanding

• Chronic MS – wheelchair-bound
• Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
• Developmentally disabled genetic syndrome
• Restless Legs Syndrome
• Parkinson’s disease

These international patients were assessed and treatment was initiated by Petros, his neurosurgeon and SOZO Medical Director Prof. Andreas Papandreos, and myself.

Ten additional patients have already completed their Brainscan/EEG and blood draws – thank you Dr. Runa – and will be joining us tomorrow.

What he does not show in this video is the TPS and the ESWT. These devices are located in the other part of our large practice.

Our practice spans 350 m2 – it is enormous, wonderfully bright and – at least for us – in a fantastic location:

The location is ideal

That means: 400 m to the motorway, 11 km to the airport, 800 m to Vienna Central Station, several excellent hotels within easy walking distance, greenery everywhere, and the historic ARSENAL with the Military History Museum right at our doorstep, as well as the SWISS GARDEN (Schweizer Garten).

Green, trees, light, SUN – the SOZO Braincenter office makes me genuinely happy and enthusiastic! And clearly Petros feels the same, as you can see in the videos.

We are extremely proud, and I am deeply grateful to all who contributed: Reinhard Pichler, Sarah “Maus”, Bernhard “Tischler” Broz, Michael Boehr from Arztplan, and many other helpers I may not have met personally, as Lenna and I were only ever on site from Wednesday at 2 AM through Sunday at midnight – screwing, stacking, ordering, and building.

In the course of all this “fit-out” stress I lost 4 kg, which quite visibly suits me!

Expansion already in place

We have planned ahead and also leased an additional office of 300 m2 in the same building, which will house a training centre for education and lectures, as well as the Autism and Neurodevelopment Department.

Never need to leave the Clinic

We will also have excellent food from all over Vienna delivered directly to the building via Lieferando – Vienna is absolutely great for that, including organic quality – so we can focus entirely on our work!

Tobias Eisenkolb – “Functional Urine Analysis”

Starting in August, the remarkable naturopath and Heilpraktiker TOBIAS EISENKOLB will also be working with us in Vienna. With his entirely unique urine diagnostics, Tobias is able to help many of the “difficult” fatigue and weakness patients who have already seen countless other practitioners.

His diagnostics – urine, gut, and hormones – are truly one of a kind, and his treatment protocols based on orthomolecular infusions, a small number of supplements, and above all anthroposophic preparations are highly effective.

My deeply admired Dr. Runa Rahman – respected for her remarkable persistence, medical depth, and near-obsessive sense of responsibility – will on her “days off” offer a special development of her own:

using neuromodulation = brain stimulators to activate specific trance centres in the brain, thereby enabling patients to enter hypnotic states more easily, more deeply, and more effectively.

Dr. Sigrun Ebmer – so much more than orthopaedics

Dr. Sigrun, our specialist in orthopaedics and also specialist in general medicine, can do so much more than those titles suggest:

Outstanding neuromodulation therapist, she has completed numerous courses with Petros and worked alongside him for several weeks in Cyprus.

• She has mastered osteopathy, fascia work, MFD (medical kinesiology), and
• above all many specialised energetic methods, developed to a high level over years of practice in her clinic in the Waldviertel region.

Without Sigrun’s “energetic” treatment I would never have been able to complete this centre – thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dr. Christoph Neumüller – Neurologist

Having Christoph on the team is an honour and a distinction! Unfortunately, given his many responsibilities and the constant bookings from “high-profile patients”, he can only come to the SOZO BrainCenter two days per week – because Christoph is “the insider tip” in Saudi Arabia as well as in the Austrian sports world.

That Austria has produced several world champions in recent years is, frankly, quite unusual?!

That is like winning the Basketball World Championship twice for Germany – the USA’s national sport.

How is something like that even possible?

In Austria, Christoph has optimised performance with neuromodulation; in Germany, Florian Schoening has done the same.

Centre for Autistic and Developmentally Disabled Children – in planning

Thanks to the “Petros Kattou and SOZO Foundation“, we are able to offer autistic and developmentally disabled children a subsidised rate supported by Petros and ourselves.

This means that medical consultation costs as well as TPS therapy will be subsidised by 50% – at least initially!

We in Vienna regard it as our responsibility to carry forward the commitment of Marios Papadopoulos and Petros Kattou, and to offer these truly vulnerable families our full support.

Possible NeuroSPINE collaboration – the perfect complement to the BrainCenter

We are hoping to establish a branch of the NeuroSPINE project by Dr. Adel Rayess and Florian Schoening – primary-lesion.com. These two star clinicians (Adel has 26 million social media followers and gained 100,000 new subscribers last week alone) are able to elegantly and rapidly improve chronic back pain by identifying the “Primary Lesion” and resolving it through NeurInject (Florian) and manipulations (Adel).

After more than 320 additional training courses beyond my medical degree, after a residency in Vöcklabruck that was genuinely excellent at the time (with 14 night shifts per month – truly formative), and after more than 30 years of medical practice, I have finally arrived where I always wanted to be:

A genuine mastery of treatment options for seriously chronically ill patients that actually allows me to make a difference – to truly touch and improve the lives of these people.
