With profound gratitude and humility, I am honored to receive the “Excellence in the Mediterranean Award 2025”, presented by the Associazione Giornalisti del Mediterraneo and the Ministry of Culture of Italy, recognizing our mission at SOZΩ Brain Center to advance neuromodulation, brain restoration, and human transformation.
This remarkable honour was celebrated in the presence of distinguished Ministers, Ambassadors, Maestro Olen Cessari, Prof. Sir Gabriele Pao-Pei Andreoli, Nicoletta Mantovani-Pavarotti, and Mr. José Mourinho, one of Italy’s finest coaches — a moment that united art, science, and faith under one vision of human excellence.
It represents not only a personal milestone but a collective mission — the work of our global MDT, international fellows, researchers, and every patient whose courage inspires us to push the frontier of neuroscience forward.
What an honour for my birth country Australia, my nation and citizenship Cyprus, and my beloved family — I dedicate this award to my wife Sylvia, and our sons Orestes and Odysseas, whose love and strength make every achievement meaningful.
