This pillow was made available to me by a patient who made it for her friend who had breast cancer. The special shape of the pillow relieves the lymphatic drainage pathways in the armpit and decongests the arm on the operated side.
This leads to better blood circulation and better lymphatic drainage, the arm becomes less acidic, less congested, less pain.
In fact, every breast cancer patient who has used this pillow has been absolutely delighted with it!
The pillow is filled with synthetic balls and can be washed at any time.
Mrs. S says: I also find the symbolism of the pillow so helpful. Firstly, it relieves pain and swelling, but you also have something warm and soft to press against, because breast cancer patients are so often alone and left to deal with their fears.

A kind word, a nice gesture, help in difficult times,
a heart pillow …
The anatomically shaped pillow in the shape of a heart is worn under the arm by breast cancer patients and relieves unpleasant pressure and scar pain that most patients suffer from after a surgical procedure. It relieves the lymphatic drainage channels at armpit level, helps to decongest the operated side and improves blood circulation.
It also offers a certain amount of protection from sudden movements or jolts, such as those that can occur when coughing or in traffic. For example, it can be worn under the seat belt in the car.
Lying on your side is made much easier by the pillow.
And then there is the psychological aspect!
In this particularly difficult phase of life, women should not feel alone with their fears, worries and suffering.
